Set in an era where people are wary of murderous and thieving pirates who sail
the Caribbean waters, this tale follows the story of Will Turner (Orlando Bloom),
a young blacksmith who has been in love with Elizabeth Swann ( Keira Knightley),
a young woman who is much higher on society’s food chain. But not everything
is simple.
After a horrible night where the villainous pirates scavenge and destroy the
island where Will resides, looking for the one key object to lift the curse
that has bound them for so long. But little does everyone know, not even she,
that Elizabeth Swann holds that object. When feared Captain Barbossa (Geoffrey
Rush) and his crew steal Swann hostage on their ship the Black Pearl - Will
meets an interesting pirate by the name of Capt. Jack Sparrow ( Johnny Depp)
and determined to rescue his true love, they set out on a stolen ship to recapture
the Black Pearl, save the British Navy, and find out & solve the secret
that holds these pirates between life and death.
The thrilling tension, amazing scenery and excellent casting choices will enchant your mind and entertain you throughout this gargantuan thrillride. It was directed by Gore Verbinski and produced by the famous Jerry Bruckheimer. And the ever entertaining Klaus Badelt composed the original, spectacular music.
Johnny Depp is definitely the outstanding performer in this number and has adapted to this role so well, he brings a script to life.
